We're seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to lead cost management processes, ensure financial accuracy, and support the success of our projects and operations.The role:As a Senior Cost Controller, you will oversee cost management processes such as financial planning, advanced cost analysis and providing guidance and leadership to the cost control for the division. This role will ensure that all projects and operations are executed within budget and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.Key areas of responsibility will be to:Lead the preparation and oversight of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful cost reports to senior management.Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.Review and challenge project forecasts, analyzing monthly expenses and divisional profitability.Manage project cost reports, including WIP, accruals, and cost-to-complete analysis.Partner with operational teams to drive value initiatives and ensure effective cost control measures.Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.Work cross-functionally with project managers, procurement, and other departments to ensure financial efficiency.About you:To excel in this role, you will bring:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, ideally a Masters degree or professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA)A minimum of 4+ years experience in cost control or financial analysis or related roleProficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel (Data Analysis) skills.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Strong multi-tasking abilities, coupled with excellent organisational and time management skills to meet tight and consistent deadlines.What We Offer:Joining HEB Construction means becoming part of a dynamic and supportive team where your expertise will be valued and your career can flourish.
