Senior Corporate PlannerPermanent | Full Time We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Corporate Planner to join our team.
As our Senior Corporate Planner, you will be a key member of the Strategy, Policy and Planning Team with the ability to lead our corporate planning work programme as a subject matter expert.
You'll have demonstrated skills in complex project planning and management, including development and implementation of plans and processes within agreed timelines and budgets.
You will showcase expertise in coordinating and liaising at all levels and with a wide audience, to drive and deliver our corporate planning and reporting activities across the organisation, including the Long Term Plan, Annual Plan, and Annual Report.
This is a diverse role suitable for someone with energy and initiative. In addition, you should:
Have robust experience of Local Government corporate planning processes, functions, and legislation.Be proactive with a desire to take ownership and make the role what you want it to be.Have the proven ability to deliver effective project plans, proposals, technical documentation, and reports.Have exceptional relationship management and communication skills, both written and oral, including being comfortable presenting in council and community environments.Be experienced working closely with diverse teams, building rapport and translating complex problems into simple solutions and results.Be experienced in, or familiar with, local government consultation and engagement processes.Be a natural collaborator, open to different points of view, with a willingness to overcome difficult challenges within teams and the wider organization.With this position comes an opportunity to take a 'change and improve' approach to all corporate planning projects.
