Is this your next role?
You'll lead the delivery and reporting of Heartland's external communications strategy, raising Heartland's profile across New Zealand and Australia with a particular focus on media relations, investor relations and government relations activity. You'll also work to ensure all of our employees and customers receive excellent communications that foster positive engagement experiences.
Key responsibilities: Lead the implementation of the media relations programme.Manage Heartland's reactive response to media coverage.Lead content development and the delivery of investor relations activities.Proactively identify and coordinate PR opportunities.Provide strategic advice, review and support for customer communication.Contribute to the development and implementation of Heartland's internal communications strategy and plan.Does this sound like you?
You'll have a proven track record in corporate and investor communications within a stock exchange listed company and/or a heavily regulated industry. You thrive in dynamic environments, handle ambiguity with ease, and are known for your collaborative approach. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
Keys to your success include: Strong media relations experience with a good media network across New Zealand and Australia, and a good understanding of the media landscapes in both countries.Good experience in government relations communications activity.Experience working directly with senior leaders/executive team.Effective time management while working on multiple deliverables with deadlines.An eye for detail and accuracy.Ability to work through issues in a logical way.A bit about us and what we do: Heartland is an NZX/ASX-listed financial services group with big growth plans.
