About the role We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our high-performing team and deliver innovative solutions for our renewable energy projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Lifecycle management and upgrades of PLC, SCADA, Governor, AVR, and communications networks.Providing technical support and information to site operations.Conducting thorough investigations into equipment breakdowns.Leading project initiatives from inception to completion, including scoping, procurement, contractor management, design, commissioning, and close-out.Identifying and implementing system enhancements.Our ideal candidate will Bring a positive energy to their work.Have proven experience and success in hydropower generation or relevant heavy industrial / engineering experience at a senior technical level.Have expert technical skills built on a professional foundation of control system engineering (engineering qualification preferred) and 15+ years technical experience.Have knowledge of high voltage electrical hydropower generation systems including transmission & distribution, transformers, generators, automatics voltage regulators (AVR), governors, control systems (PLC, SCADA), protection systems, and auxiliary (LV and DC) supply systems.We know you may be reluctant to apply if they feel you don't 'tick all the boxes'.
