Senior Contracts Administrator

The Role:As a Senior Contracts Administrator within a small, dynamic team, you will play a key role in managing and supporting civil construction projects from start to finish, focusing on ensuring contracts are effectively administered and project objectives are met.In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including:Administering contracts, including tracking deliverables, ensuring compliance, and managing variations.Providing administrative support for pre- and post-award project planning, programming, and coordination.Assisting with budget tracking, invoice processing, and reporting on project financials.Essential experience in pricing a variety of civil works including drainage, roading, and residential small project works.Building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored correctly.Quality, Health & Safety Compliance: Supporting adherence to quality standards and health and safety requirements across projects.Supporting tender processes, including preparation of contract documentation, scope of work, and cost estimation.About You:To succeed in this role, you should have experience in contract administration or project coordination within the civil construction industry. You will also need to demonstrate:A relevant qualification (Civil Engineering or Construction Management) is preferred, though practical industry experience will be considered highly valuable.At least 3 years of experience in civil construction administration or project coordination, particularly in residential or commercial projects.Essential experience in pricing drainage, roading, and residential small project works.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers.Sound financial understanding and the ability to track project budgets.Familiarity with health and safety legislation, contract law, and industry best practices.A current clean Class 1 driver's license.Ability to complete drug, alcohol, and criminal background checks.Benefits:In return, you will have the opportunity to work in a close-knit team and make a meaningful contribution to the success of the company.
