Senior Contract & Relationship Manager - Transport & Fleet Strategically focussed roleBased in either Auckland (East Tamaki) or Christchurch (Airport)Use your strong relationship and contract management skillsSitting within our Strategic Contracts & Relationships team and reporting to the Category Manager - Transport & Fleet, you'll take ownership, manage and extract value from all of our contract and commercial supplier relationships.
As our Senior Contract and Relationship Manager - Transport and Fleet, you'll play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing all contract and commercial supplier relationships within the Strategic Contracts & Relationship team. From Air and Bicycles, Motorcycles, Paxsters, Ferry to Vehicles and Fuel/Charging, you'll be responsible for managing a wide array of supplier categories that are essential to our ongoing operations.
This is a key position that will give you the chance to drive value across multiple contract and commercial activities, ensuring seamless integration between our suppliers and our operations. Your work will be integral to the lifecycle management of fleet assets, including strategy development, supplier performance, cost analysis, and operational needs.
You'll achieve this through:
Taking the lead on contract management and supplier relationships across a broad range of fleet and transport categoriesDriving supplier performance to ensure that contracts are being delivered to the highest standards, meeting both operational and financial goalsCollaborating closely with the Transport and Fleet team to manage asset lifecycles, ensuring ongoing operational success and asset management efficiencyUsing your commercial acumen to develop subcategory strategies, perform cost analysis, and lead contract negotiationsLeveraging your industry expertise to continuously improve the value and effectiveness of our supplier partnershipsYou'll be either an experienced procurement practitioner used to end-to-end processes or an experienced contract manager looking for a new challenge. You'll enjoy building and maintaining relationships that are commercially successful for all parties, as well as reading and understanding the various nuances within contracts.
