Senior Consular And Outreach Officer

We are working with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Wellington on their search for a full-time Senior Consular Officer. They are looking for someone to join the team in the new year who brings proven customer service experience and a willingness to carry out a variety of diverse tasks, including the following:Front-facing duties: Assessing applications for travel, visas, and passportsProviding support and advice: Offering guidance to clients and colleaguesDaily financials: Managing financial transactions and recordsManaging communications: Responding to emails and phone callsAdditionally, this role includes outreach and communication responsibilities such as:Managing and updating the Embassy's websiteCreating and distributing newslettersCoordinating events (e.g., National Day celebrations)Managing social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter)The ideal candidate will have:3–5 years of experience in a corporate environmentPassion for providing outstanding customer serviceConfidence, proactivity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAn interest in communications, with exposure to social media management being a bonusKnowledge of or an interest in Dutch culture (Dutch language skills are a bonus!)Highlights of the role:A supportive work environment where humour is encouragedAn excellent espresso coffee machineThe opportunity to utilise your Dutch speaking abilitiesIf you would like to know more or wish to apply, please send your CV and job-specific cover letter to ****** Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
