This is a full-time, permanent opportunity available to join the Northern Regional team as a Senior Compliance Officer. This role is critical in delivering compliance activities and providing leadership and mentoring for other compliance kaimahi.

Relevant experience in a regulator/compliance sectorSubject matter expertise in regulatory approaches, Smokefree and Regulated Products, and Sale and Supply of Alcohol legislationA relevant graduate and post-graduate qualificationExperience in implementing Te Tiriti o WaitangiExperience in an advisory role, applying critical thinking and sound judgementA commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partnerCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey in this areaHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora supports flexible and hybrid working for our kaimahi.
