Capital Football is the regional governing body for football in the wider Wellington region, we are one of six Federations that are affiliated to New Zealand Football. We cover five areas: Wellington, Porirua, Horowhenua/Kapiti, Hutt Valley, and Wairarapa. Our mission is to provide, develop and safeguard the future of football and futsal.
Football is the largest participation sport in the region, and we work closely with our 42 member Clubs. We provide competitions and opportunities to over 22,000 registered players (inc. futsal), supported by thousands of coaches, referees, administrators, and volunteers.
Capital Football is one of Wellington's leading regional sports organisations and is looking to appoint a Senior Competitions Co-ordinator for football & futsal.
It is expected you will have impeccable administration skills & must be well-suited to working within a team. You will likely have a proven record in managing the operational requirements of a business; it would be helpful if it was in sports management.
To succeed & enjoy this role you will need to be able to cope with various challenging circumstances whilst maintaining positive relationships. A passion for football or sport would also go a long way.
You will have effective time management, be able to multi-task and have the ability to work under pressure all the while showing professionalism, excellent communication, IT competency & great organisation.
We are a close team & you will likely be required to help out in other parts of the business as required.
Remuneration will be discussed at the interview and will be in the ballpark of $75,000 - $80,000 per year. It is a full-time role; however, we offer flexible working conditions.
