Senior Communications Advisor | Wellington CityTe Ao Marama Programme, Ministry of JusticeFixed Term Full timeTe Haeata/The OpportunityKeen to put your senior communications skills to great use in a varied role supporting a significant initiative?We're looking for a talented, hard-working and motivated Senior Communications Advisor to join our team on a fixed term/secondment arrangement until 30 June 2025.As Senior Communications Advisor, you will provide end-to-end communication services through quality communication advice, planning and collateral.Supporting the programme to achieve its business outcomes means there are plenty of opportunities for strategic storytelling using appropriate internal and external channels, as well as skilled communications planning.You will enjoy the challenge of understanding the complexities of this unique programme of work, and how to communicate to a broad audience plainly and effectively.To be successful in this role you will have:Excellent writing skills and experience of weaving complex materials into engaging content for diverse audiences.Significant experience of communications planning, key message development, internal and external communications content production - including for digital channels - and stakeholder management.Excellent time management, attention to detail and self-motivation.Exceptional relationship management skills.An understanding of the machinery of government and experience navigating a large or complex public sector agency.At Te Tahu o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we're committed to strengthening people's trust in the law of Aotearoa, New Zealand.Te Ao Marama is a judicially led District Court kaupapa that partners with iwi and communities to work with the court and justice sector agencies to ensure all court participants, including victims and whanau, can understand and better take part in the cases that relate to them.
The kaupapa will benefit everyone who attends the District Court.
