I am seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor who is driven by improving the wellbeing of New Zealanders.

To succeed in this role you will:

Support engagement with kiritaki (clients) to improve access, experience and outcomes, with a focus on kiritaki Maori.
Varied work programme with a mix of strategic communications, marketing and event support.
Apply your Maori communications expertise in this senior role within a high-performing and supportive team.

This role will support efforts to improve outcomes for our kiritaki, with a focus on Maori. The role is key to ensuring our kiritaki and whanau are aware of the services available to them.

In addition to the above skills, the following would be an advantage:

Knowledgeable in Maori culture and values.
Good understanding of te reo Maori me nga tikanga.
Existing knowledge and experience in Maori focused communications and channels.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of Maori and non-Maori audiences.
Marketing and social media experience would be advantageous as we promote and expand our services across the motu.
