Reporting to the Manager Internal Communications, this 6 month fixed term opportunity is to support the delivery of our strategic internal communication plans and approaches, providing guidance and advice to our kaimahi that supports and fosters cross organisational engagement. This includes providing appropriate and considered advice to leaders acting as partner to support delivery and achieve positive outcomes. This opportunity is ideally based in Wellington, but we will consider Auckland.

Inclusive and collaborative, with well-developed relationship building skills, you are solutions focused, action oriented, and are great at prioritising the things you know will add value. Your problem-solving skills and ability to extract simplicity from complexity will be key strengths.

The successful applicant will have:
Experience in the development and delivery of organisational communications and engagement initiatives within large complex Corporate or Public Sector organisations.Excellent communication and presentation skills using a variety of writing styles and skills.Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills, relationship management and networking skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.It is desirable to have a high level of matauranga Maori for this role.Working at ACC:
