The focus of the Senior Communications Advisor role is to:
Develop and deliver comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the organization's public image and communications effectiveness.Keep Council, Iwi, the community, and stakeholders informed and engaged in the democratic process.Employ a variety of relevant methods, mediums, and technologies to get the message across.Support and empower the wider team to develop their skills.Support managers at all levels to develop impactful content and achieve productive outcomes with communication.Desired Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
3+ years experience in a communications, public relations, or professional social media role.Qualification in communications, public relations, or marketing.Excellent digital skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365.Experience of leading and supporting team members - in either a formal or informal capacity.Outside of work benefits, we also offer:
