About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to pioneer this new role within our team. As a key member of our Engagement Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering our internal and external communication strategies. Your expertise will help us continue to lift employee engagement, promote our brand (both as an employer and as a service provider), and support our organisational objectives. You will also be a trusted advisor to our senior leaders on communication best practices and strategies.
Your role will truly have a breadth of activity from events to marketing. Key activity will include:
Craft compelling internal and external communications that inspire and engage anyone from our people to our communities.
Create and manage content for various channels, including newsletters, intranet, social media, and company-wide announcements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
Provide strategic communication support for key projects and change management initiatives.
Plan and execute corporate events (internal and external).
About You
Ideally, you'll have a tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, along with proven experience in a communications role, preferably within a commercial environment. You possess exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, and have a proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies.
Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build relationships at all levels of the organisation, and you have experience with digital communication tools and platforms. You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, bringing a proactive and strategic approach to your work.
