We really are a company that wants to make a positive difference.We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Commissioning Engineer to join our high-performing team.Reporting to the Operations Commissioning Manager, you will provide water or wastewater commissioning expertise to ensure the successful implementation of capital works, maximising system efficiency and delivering positive outcomes for our customers.You will lead and support commissioning approaches across our business to ensure consistency, minimise business risk, and optimise solution delivery. Other responsibilities include:Oversee the entry to service, performance testing, and successful hand-over of multiple projects simultaneously. Projects are diverse and range from major asset maintenance to complex treatment plants.Provide water and/or wastewater process expertise.Prepare and review commissioning documentation including test plans, test sheets, and commissioning plans.Create strong and successful working relationships across our different business units.Develop and improve existing systems, standards, and business processes/practices to meet the demands of a changing operational scene.Mentor commissioning, capital delivery, and operational staff to ensure commissioning best practice is followed and commissioning capability is grown within Watercare and partner organisations.To be successful in this role, you will have:A minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering and/or operations experience (process, mechanical, chemical) including experience with commissioning of complex industrial processes (water/food/chemical/oil & gas).Proven experience in either water or wastewater treatment processes.Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to manage and lead others.
