ABOUT THE TEAM
The Global Nielsen Media Client Service & Sales team wants to empower you to help our clients go from insights to action faster.
We want to help you perfect the art of data-driven customer service that drives clients' investment in Nielsen.
You can now work on activities that are driving client impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships in the broadcasting sector
Serve as the key day-to-day point of contact for major broadcasting accounts
Proactively engage with key broadcasting stakeholders on commercial initiatives
Support commercial leads in achieving revenue targets for the commercial broadcasters and related broadcast entities
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analyses
Assist Nielsen Operations with analyses of data to support the rollout of key strategic projects
Work closely with cross-functional teams like Operations, Data Science, Finance and Legal, to align on business opportunities and needs, as the voice of the broadcasters
Stay updated on technological advancements in broadcasting and explore their potential applications
A working understanding of all Nielsen Media products and solutions, particularly TV measurement and Consumer & Media Index
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
5+ years of experience in commercial broadcasting, media sales, or related areas
Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships
Strong understanding of the NZ broadcasting industry and current market trends
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, data analytics platforms)
Experience with analyses in Television Audience Measurement data
Builds strong, trust-based client relationships
Ability to prioritise against multiple client demands
Seeks opportunities and supports company initiatives to grow revenue
Strong skills across MS Office and Google suite
Strong attention to detail
