Your day-to-day work has you operate as partner and advisor to the Logistics Leadership Team, working closely with them as well as their Logistics team members.
You become an integral part of this Logistics Leadership Team, responsible for providing data analysis and commercial insights that contribute to performance management and delivery of logistics strategic goals and objectives.Our Senior Commercial Analysts are connectors of groups both internally and externally, including commercial relationships with our key Logistics vendors who are able to provide us with data, reporting, and information which gives us better insights into our entire global logistics and distribution network.This role, done well, ensures that our Logistics teams make the best commercial decisions to positively impact the financial performance of the business.Ou Pukenga | About You:You'll be a professional with experience working in a similar role in the commercial space.
Ideally, this experience is strongly tied with global logistics, exports, or the manufacturing industry, with additional benefit if you've worked in the agriculture sector too.Holding a Chartered Accountant designation is not necessary but is immensely beneficial - given the size and complexity of the business unit you'll be operating in, and the breadth and depth of commercial value that this role has the opportunity to influence.This role would suit a commercial professional wanting to work in a highly complex environment, who is looking to have an autonomous role and be able to deliver tangible, measurable financial benefits to a large Logistics function.Ideally you will be:Confident and people-focusedAutonomous, ownership focused, and accountableProfessionally qualified accountant (CA, CPA etc) with at least 7 years' experience in a relevant management accounting or commercial roleLogistics background or some sort of similar industryProficient with manipulating data to gain insight and provide analysis using tools such as Excel and PowerBIExcellent at relationship management; apply a "customer service" approach to key relationships throughout the businessTe Ahurea | Why work at Silver Fern Farms?Silver Fern Farms are all about Creating Goodness from the Farms the World Needs.
