We are searching for our next Senior Commercial Analyst – Marketing to join our Finance Team in Auckland, reporting into our Commercial Director – Customer and Consumer. You will help drive efficient financial planning and reporting, and provide governance, financial and commercial insight to enable better decisions and manage business performance. You will work closely with our Marketing team, including the Marketing Leadership Team and Brand Teams, as well as external brand partners, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your business partnering skills and commercial acumen. The role is hybrid, which means you'll have the flexibility to work from the office and from home.
A day in the life Business partner with our most important external brand partnersCalculate brand partner royalty payments and profit share arrangementsSupport the Marketing team with the commercial analysis of new products and other initiativesProvide monthly reporting on Marketing spend and performance, tracking return on investmentParticipate in Marketing category performance and forecast meetings as part of our integrated business planning processWhat you'll bring Strong communication and presentation skillsA demonstrated track record of business partnering with senior stakeholdersData and analytical modelling skillsThe ability to generate insight, make recommendations and influence decisionsExperience delivering continuous improvement across processes and systemsA focus on governance and controlsTertiary degree and professional qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)5+ years' postgraduate experience including commercial experienceAt Lion, we offer 'growth on tap' and you'll get hooked on reaching higher with each new challenge.
