Senior Cloud Platform Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Platform Consultant to manage, support, and monitor our Azure environment, with a strong emphasis on compliance, security, and policy. This role will occasionally involve solution architecture, requiring close collaboration with the Platform Manager and the Architecture Team to achieve optimal outcomes. The consultant will work closely with various teams and faculties, providing transparent guidance to Platform Team members and ensuring the consistent application of best practices.This position includes participation in a 24/7 support roster, requiring flexible availability. We offer a hybrid working policy that supports a balanced approach to remote and on-site work.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage Azure services, focusing on compliance, security, and policy enforcement.Collaborate with the Platform Manager, Architecture Teams, and other departments to deliver solutions aligned with organizational objectives.Provide clear and transparent technical guidance to Platform Team members.Administer identity management systems, including Active Directory and Entra ID.Manage and support virtualization platforms, with an emphasis on VMware.Maintain strong expertise in operating systems, including Windows and Linux.Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift is a plus.Automate and optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructure using advanced scripting skills in Bicep, Terraform, and PowerShell.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.Relevant Azure or AWS equivalent certification.Extensive experience in Azure or similar cloud platforms.Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID.Expertise in virtualization platforms, including VMware, Windows, and Linux.Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift is advantageous.Proficient in scripting with Bicep, Terraform, and PowerShell.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across cross-functional teams.Salary Range: $103,000 - $123,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)Reference: 90375Closing Date: 23 Jan 2025, 11:55pmAt AUT we strive to be a place where people love to work and learn.
