About this role
Due to external promotion my client, one of New Zealand's leading Retirement Village operators, are looking for an experienced Aged Care Clinical Manager. You would be overseeing a large and dedicated clinical team offering the very best levels of care. This is a 100+ bedded service. You would work alongside a high-performing and experienced Village Manager and would help them to continue to drive team performance.
The ideal candidate for this role will bring a wealth of experience and expertise with them. With recent Retirement Village or Aged Care experience, you'll possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges and nuances associated with providing care to elderly residents.
Having successfully managed a large clinical operation with over 150 staff, you bring proven leadership skills to the table, demonstrating your ability to guide and inspire a diverse team.
Your knowledge of quality systems and a keen awareness of current clinical governance and compliance standards underscore your commitment to delivering top-notch healthcare services. Notably, you have a practical comprehension of New Zealand HR law and performance management practices, ensuring a sound foundation for overseeing the human resources aspect of the clinical team. Your developed relationship management skills, coupled with a familiarity in dealing with different cultures, reflect your ability to create inclusive and harmonious working environments.
In addition to your sound operational knowledge of eCase and Medimap, your high level of computer literacy showcases your adaptability to technological advancements in the healthcare sector. Your life experiences contribute to a well-rounded perspective, enhancing your ability to connect with residents and understand their individual needs.
