We are seeking a capable and experienced individual to come on board as the Senior Claims Advocate in our Auckland office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the foundation and growth of our claims team as Lockton New Zealand continues to grow. The primary focus of this role is to ensure our clients quickly receive the full benefits of their insurance policy when they need to make a claim.  This position requires someone with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges. This role will also require close collaboration with different stakeholders. 
?What will you be doing? Advise clients on notifications of circumstances and claims. Conduct policy coverage analysis and provide advice. Manage claims with insurers and service providers, ensuring timely and smooth coordination. Advocate for clients, resolving coverage issues and managing claims protocols. Liaise directly with clients and conduct claims review meetings Co-ordinating and driving pragmatic resolution of claims. Monitor and review regulatory and case law developments  Ability to articulate and promote Lockton Client Advocacy service offering.  You will need the following experience and qualifications: 5+ years demonstrated technical expertise in independently managing insurance claims.  Skilled in policy coverage analysis. Strong technical and advocacy skills winning trust of brokers and clients. Solid generalist experience in insurance claims for large multinational organisations. Insurance qualification preferred. Skilled in policy coverage analysis.  Strong technical and advocacy skills.   To be successful in this role, you will need to: Have excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Have a high level of attention to detail, quality standards and compliance.  Have a strong client service focus, ability to build rapport and manage relationships Be able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and adapt when necessary.  Work collaboratively with others, while also being self-motivated and able to independently manage responsibilities and priorities.  We offer: A focus on training and development opportunities and mentoring program. Discounted corporate private health insurance and a free flu vaccination program. Salary Continuance insurance to protect you and your family in the event you suffer an illness or injury. Extra Paid Summer and winter day to focus on your wellness. Paid parental leave and volunteer leave. Opportunities to give back to the communities in which we work and live. Access to an employee assistance program for coaching and counselling. The opportunity to get involved or participate in initiatives organised by our Wellness, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Ignite and CSR Associate Resource Groups.  About Lockton Since our foundation in 1966, Lockton has grown to become the world's largest privately owned insurance broker.
