Position Overview:
Our client provides innovative construction and engineering solutions to a diverse range of private, government, and commercial customers across the country. Operating multiple complementary businesses in Modular, Civil, and Commercial Construction, the Group is actively acquiring and integrating sub-trade and design services companies, creating a unique, quality-focused total construction solution.
To support continued growth in the Wellington region, they are currently seeking a driven Civil Engineer. This role will help push projects to completion, be the lead civil engineer for the business, and serve as a key contact for the organisation.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, coordination, evaluation, and analysis of various commercial, modular, and educational projects across New Zealand. You will leverage your expertise to ensure engineering designs meet national standards and collaborate with team members to deliver projects that fulfill customer needs. This team plays a crucial role in delivering innovative outcomes throughout the planning and feasibility stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.
Manage small to medium projects involving investigation and reporting, preparation of estimates, design, documentation, and contract surveillance.
Maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential clients.
Prepare high-quality reports and other correspondence.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng) or currently working towards it.
Experience in land development projects in sectors such as residential, commercial, industrial, modular, or education.
Proven ability to take a lead role in the planning, designing, and implementation of projects.
