Experienced Senior Civil Engineer - WellingtonOur client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking an exceptional Senior Civil Engineer to join their Wellington team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chartered civil engineer with extensive experience to take on a pivotal technical leadership role.As the Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex civil engineering projects for the consultancy's diverse client base. Reporting to the Wellington Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Providing technical leadership and oversight for all aspects of project design, engineering, quality assurance, and site workSupervising large-scale civil projects, interpreting site investigations, and developing effective remedial solutionsMentoring and guiding junior engineers to promote best practices and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standardsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients to secure repeat business and identify opportunities for continuous improvementTo succeed in this role, you will need:8+ years of experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy environmentA Washington Accord engineering degree and chartered professional status (or equivalent)Proven track record of leading and collaborating within high-performing project teamsExceptional technical expertise, allowing you to act as a subject matter expertExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a respected engineering firm and make a tangible impact on major infrastructure projects in the Wellington region.
