Roblawmax Recruitment is partnering with a forward-thinking organization in Queensland Australia to find a highly skilled and motivated Civil Designer keen to relocate!
This full-time permanent position is based in the Gladstone region and offers the chance to work on impactful municipal infrastructure projects.The location is regional, with gorgeous beaches and islands, perfect for people who enjoy diving, swimming, snorkelling, surfing and hiking all year round!As a Senior Designer, you will be pivotal in designing and delivering municipal roading and water asset projects.
From concept to completion, you will ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
You'll also have the opportunity to mentor team members, improve design processes, and contribute to the organization's strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Design municipal infrastructure projects, including conceptual and detailed designs, "For Construction," and "As Built" drawings.Utilize civil design software to prepare technical documentation, cost estimates, and bills of quantities.Maintain drawing registers and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve service requests and provide timely project updates.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members to enhance their capabilities.What We're Looking For:New Zealand or Australian Residency or Citizenship + industry experience working in these countries.Qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent.6+ years of professional engineering experience.Proven experience in civil design using AutoCAD, Civil3D, or similar software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and corporate business systems.A valid and clean, full driver's license.Experience in local government.Familiarity with quality management systems and environmental standards.Why Join Us?Be part of a forward-thinking team committed to sustainable asset management.Opportunity to influence infrastructure projects that impact the community.A role that values professional growth and fosters collaboration.Competitive remuneration and benefits.If you have solid Civil Design and Engineering skills, an easy-going personality who relates well to others and a great attitude apply now!
