We are seeking a Senior Civil Designer Engineer to join the MTL team to be part of a multi-discipline design team for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will work with project managers and senior engineers to develop design solutions that meet project objectives and budgets. You will be client-facing and be able to use your experience and knowledge to create and maintain 3D models and produce drawings of civil engineering designs using a suite of software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Navisworks.Experience10+ years of experience working as a Civil Designer in New Zealand, preferably with client-facing experience.Development of Civil 3D templates and standards.Areas of interest: Land development, Roading, Earth retaining structures & piping networks.Understanding of survey technology.ArcGIS mapping.BIM360 cloud environment.Proficiency in 2D CAD and 3D modelling software.Resource management of a multi-discipline design team.Supporting project proposals and fee estimates.To Be SuccessfulYou are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for civil design.You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse team.You have a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.You are proficient in problem-solving and possess the ability to think creatively and find practical solutions.Excellent English language skills and ability to communicate professionally are essential.Your DevelopmentMTL is looking for someone that is considering a fresh challenge and wants to have the opportunity to be part of the growing Design team working on diverse projects.
