About the role:
Permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 45 hours per week.
As a Senior CDP, you are responsible for supporting the Head and Sous Chef in a busy kitchen and delivering consistently high-quality food.
Some of your responsibilities are but not limited to:
Taking care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by your seniors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Group
Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef
Responsible for supervision of junior chefs and commis
Ability to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure all standards are met.
Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, and presentation standards
Operate and maintain all department equipment and report any malfunctions.
Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
Ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim
Carry out any other duties required by your seniors
About you:
Minimum three years experience in a high-volume venue
Must work well in a team
Organised
Punctual and reliable
Friendly, energetic, and hard-working attitude
