Who We Are | Ko Wai Matou
Hiku
The name comes from the Maori word for 'whale tail' and is inspired by Kaikoura's most iconic attraction. It is also influenced by the strong historic and modern culture and heritage of the area. We celebrate this and show off what Kaikoura is all about - kai moana, fresh produce, marine life, and dramatic sea and mountain scapes.
Sudima Kaikoura is a new 4.5-star hotel on the esplanade of Kaikoura's waterfront, conveniently located at the end of the town centre. The hotel has spectacular 360 views of the mountain range, waterfront and peninsula with a high quality fit-out, 120 well-appointed rooms, restaurant, bar, conference facilities and infinity pool.
