About Ryman Retirement Villages Ryman Healthcare is seeking a full-time senior caregiver to join our friendly team at William Sanders Retirement Village in Devonport, Auckland.
You must have a level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Naturally, you will have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week and the wage will be $30.40 per hour.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performing care and personal needs assistance as detailed in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Observing and reporting immediately to the Registered Nurse or senior any change in a resident's status or behaviour.
Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times.
Demonstrating care for others by understanding their needs and providing help and support.
Documenting care provided to residents objectively and in a timely manner.
We provide a full orientation with ongoing training and support towards professional development and aged care qualifications.
Flexibility and reliability are the key attributes that will secure you a role. A variety of shifts are required to be worked each week including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
