Senior C++ Engineer

My client is a successful Kiwi company based on the North Shore specialising in leading edge marine technology. Their development team is small, so you will be required to work on a number of varied projects to help move their products to the next level of performance and quality.  If you are looking to step into, or expand your leadership experience, this could be the opportunity for you!

Your role will include: Implementation and successful delivery of new products to marketSystem architectural and detailed design through to implementationIssue resolution and maintenance of products in the marketWorking with internal and external customers to continually improve the product offeringAssisting the current Manager with leadership tasks The ideal candidate: Minimum 7 years development including C, C++ and UI architectural design/application developmentEmbedded Linux experience desirableAn Electronics degree or similarAn interest in marine technologyAny exposure with sonar technologies and/or signal processing techniques, along with a love for fishing would be a bonus!
