The Senior Buyer will play a crucial role in the Procurement & Supply Chain department in the FMCG industry, overseeing purchasing activities and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods. Description Implement effective purchasing strategies across the company. Negotiate with suppliers for favourable terms and pricing. Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities. Develop a strategic approach for procurement and material management. Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Ensure adherence to laws, regulations and ISO requirements. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior members of the Procurement team. Profile A successful Senior Buyer should have: A degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration. Prior experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry. Strong negotiation and networking skills. Excellent knowledge of supplier or third-party management software. Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers. Experience in collecting and analysing data. Job Offer A competitive salary range between 45,000 to 55,000 per year.
