Ko ake mahi - What you'll do The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in stabilising and improving the Ministry's regulatory platforms and systems. This role will have an immediate focus on regulatory products with funding allocated to replace existing systems, while supporting a Regulatory Portfolio business case refresh. The Senior Business Analyst will support regulatory teams to stablise existing systems and processes to release capacity, and document and confirm business requirements and business processes to ensure any replacement is robust, adaptable to regulatory changes and capable of supporting long-term business needs. This role will ensure all deliverables consider the pipeline of regulatory products to capture and leverage commonality across the regulatory portfolio. Ko pukenga - What you'll bring * 5+ years demonstrated experience in the field * Demonstrated experience working in leading business analysis and business systems improvement activities in complex environments and experience with government regulatory practices * Ability to quickly assimilate new information or areas of work and come to an understanding of unfamiliar and complex concepts and environments * Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex environment * Analytical and enquiring mindset, with a willingness to ask probing questions to understand the underlying information * Demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes and manage competing priorities while remaining resilient under pressure.
