Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in banking and finance.
Your expertise in cards scheme compliance and interchange will be essential to this role.
You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, implementing change according to agreed standards and using business analysis processes, tools, and artefacts for all aspects of the Project/System Development Life Cycle.
This role can be based in either Wellington or Auckland.
This is a contract role that will be paid a daily rate.
Please note, we will only consider candidates with extensive financial sector experience and who are already based in New Zealand.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in planning, estimating, coordinating, and implementing changes across various projects.
You will engage with key stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met while managing expectations.
Your ability to interpret technical information for both business units and technical teams will be crucial for the delivery of solutions.
Leveraging your exceptional research, data analysis, and decision-making skills, you will assist in the prioritisation and delivery of a wide range of enhancements and migration planning through to implementation.
You will also take ownership of requirements management, making decisions on conflicting requirements while maintaining effective change control processes.
What you'll bring: 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst working with Business and Technology teams Background in finance or Banking Familiarity with complex software, hardware, networks, applications, and technologies Experience planning and co-ordinating projects ranging in size and scope Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills working with customers, product teams and key stakeholders MUST have experience in card scheme compliance.
