Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology) Contract/Temp Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a team building the people and technology capabilities to operate a best practice safety camera system across our roading network.
We are looking for an experienced, multi-skilled Senior Business Analyst to complete the nationwide desktop site safety assessments, and complete detailed design deliverables to help us in establishing the new mobile camera business operation in NZTA.
As a Senior Business Analyst in the Mobile Safety Camera Project, you will be expected to: Lead the desktop site safety assessment process to ensure all assessments are completed in the timeframe required.
Engage with vendors and suppliers when required to share findings from site assessments.
Liaise with the Mobile Camera Service Provider to ensure that its staff have the information needed to carry out robust and effective risk evaluation processes for each site.
Contribute to the design of the Mobile Camera business function, this will include the ability to provide thought leadership, think conceptually, and solve problems as they arise.
Collaborate with a range of business stakeholders and be willing to present thinking and lead workshops.
Have strong written communications skills including the ability to write governance level decision documents.
Ko koe tenei | About you We're looking for someone who is a self-starter and comfortable working with minimal supervision, and will bring: Significant and proven experience in Business Analysis with advanced analytical skills and ability to evaluate and resolve highly complex issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focus mindset.
Strong experience building and maintaining relationships in a complex business and technology environment.
Experience operating in an Agile environment and hybrid ways of working.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
