About the team | Ko te ropu nei The Three Waters Unit is responsible for the delivery of $2.8BN in capital works projects over the next 10 years. As we embark on transformative projects, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team.
About the role | Ko te mahi nei The focus of this role is to manage our contractor and consultant panels to deliver our capital program and to lead the delivery of business transformation and continuous improvement. You will do this by:
Developing and documenting Three Waters project management and business processes, standards, templates, and operating procedures.Providing dedicated business analysis support to project and operational teams.Providing information and analysis on performance and strategic issues impacting the Three Waters delivery teams.Providing direction to Three Waters staff with regards to procurement projects.Developing business requirements and acceptance criteria to support process improvement initiatives.Acting as the primary interface between Council and the Panel members and providing comprehensive support in panel management and contract control.
About you | Ko Koe Tenei Communication is key and you'll have proven customer-facing and presentation skills with a strong ability to communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels of the business. As well as robust stakeholder management, you'll also have great relationship-building skills and can provide analysis and recommendations to the highest levels of the Council. You will also bring with you:
At least 6 years' experience in project and relationship management/business analysis or similar role.Tertiary degree in relevant discipline.High level of computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.Demonstrable experience in developing processes and workflows.Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and develop reports to inform strategic decision-making.What's in it for you? Hours of work - 37.5 - 40 hours per week
Position - Permanent
Location - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga, Christchurch City Council Civic Offices - 53 Hereford Street
Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $93,200 to $103,556 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills, and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
