Job DescriptionAbout The RoleExciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our next generation utilities billing software division.
Take a key role in solution design and delivery of products and services in a collaborative team environment using agile methods, and ensure active involvement through the entire SDLC.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Auckland office.About YouYou have more than 5 years of proven experience working on large implementation projects with commercial IT companies, providing customer management, metering or billing solutions.
You also have:Strong documentation skills (including User Stories and Acceptance Criteria).Experience managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, with superior verbal, written and presentation skills.Ability to flex hours to periodically engage with team members who may be in offshore locations.Willingness to travel to international regions (AMS, EMEA, APAC).It Would Be Advantageous If You HaveProven experience in a similar role within vendor/hosted SaaS software product environment.Australian Energy industry experience preferably within Retail Market or Regulatory compliance.Accreditation in Scrum or other related agile certification.Familiarity with BABOK Guide.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Product Owner to build and maintain a backlog of business requirements and development stories, involving customers and other stakeholders as needed.Support agile delivery teams by facilitating refinement and sprint planning meetings to ensure a healthy 'ready' backlog.Deliver detailed software requirements including use cases, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with delivery teams.Translate business needs within user stories and acceptance criteria, aligning them with user experience and business goals while leveraging system capabilities, rules, and architecture.Provide quality analysis outputs, including process maps, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTMs), and other necessary artifacts, utilising visual aids to foster shared understanding within delivery teams.Assist with functional sizing, orders of magnitude and quotes for Statements of Work (SOW).
