Contract Senior Business Analyst – HRIS ImplementationLocation: South AucklandContract Duration: 6-12 months (with likely extension)Start Date: ASAPAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with extensive prior experience in HRIS implementation projects to join our client on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by leading the analysis and delivery of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for their organisation.Key Responsibilities:Leverage your extensive HRIS implementation expertise to lead the end-to-end business analysis activities for the project.Partner with key stakeholders across HR, IT, and other business units to understand, document, and translate complex business needs into clear system requirements.Design and optimise future-state HR processes that align with the capabilities of the new HRIS.Conduct detailed gap analyses and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and the implementation team, ensuring successful delivery.Lead workshops and present findings, solutions, and recommendations to senior leadership.Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption.What We're Looking For:Extensive and proven experience working on large-scale HRIS implementation projects (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).Strong expertise in HR processes, including payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employee lifecycle management.Exceptional skills in gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements, with a focus on aligning solutions to business goals.Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership and technical teams alike.Proficiency in process mapping, gap analysis, and technical solutioning.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Preferred Skills:A background in HR or IT with a focus on systems transformation.Experience working with vendors and third-party implementation partners.Understanding of change management principles.What We Offer:A competitive day rate reflective of your expertise.The opportunity to work on a high-profile project and deliver meaningful organisational change for a very well-known business.A collaborative and supportive environment committed to excellence.How to ApplyIf you are a Senior Business Analyst with a track record of successful HRIS implementations, we want to hear from you!
