Senior Business Analyst (Integration)We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst contractor to support a digital transformation for a well-known NZ retailer. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an impactful role in an integration-focused product squad, by bridging user needs with business objectives. You will drive business analysis efforts, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the delivery of solutions that align with product strategy. This person will ideally have a product-driven mindset and a technical understanding of APIs and software integrations.In this role you will:Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop strategic plans and prioritize discovery and delivery activities, considering feasibility, viability, and regulatory factors.Lead current-state versus future-state analysis to support seamless product integration.Translate business goals into technical requirements, write user stories, and facilitate workshops to gather and refine stakeholder requirements.Perform impact analysis to identify implications and drive informed decision-making.Optimize product changes against customer and business outcomes, leading efforts to analyze and resolve defects.Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Developers, Testers, Solution Architects, and external partners.Key skills required:Advanced business analysis skills, including expertise in documentation, process mapping, and user stories.Strong understanding of BA standards, best practices, and techniques.Proficiency in extracting API requirements, defining API specifications, and shaping API structures through collaboration.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build productive relationships.Experience working across multiple domains using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).Demonstrated leadership in driving business analysis efforts in complex and dynamic environments.About You:If you are a seasoned Business Analyst who enjoys bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions and have experience working on integration projects, we encourage you to apply.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
