As the Senior Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for working across various areas of the company, predominantly Smart. You will be responsible for maintaining, changing and upgrading high quality and reliable systems. This will include understanding and documenting business processes, and high level functional and information requirements for stakeholder groups in relation to the specific business area concerned, and supporting implementation when changes occur.
Some key Responsibilities:
Work with business areas to help capture their requirements and translate into the functional requirements and solutions with the relevant technical teams.
Analysis of the business and technical functions and may assist in the logical design of system changes/improvements.
Works with colleagues, users and other stakeholders to investigate and model business functions, processes, and information flows using methodical and consistent techniques – both traditional and Lean/Agile.
Works with colleagues and clients/users to investigate operational requirements and problems, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in information systems, data management, processes/procedures and organisation.
Assists in the analysis of investigation results and produces requirements and/or options for consideration.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
Minimum 3 years BA experience preferably in fund management, banking or financial roles.
Knowledge of the steps for the development of business process and system requirements and service level documentation, including of major process change.
Exposure to Business case and feasibility study preparation and presentation.
Knowledge of the design and management of business acceptance testing.
