About the role: This role is responsible for the ongoing continuous improvement and digital transformation of our ecommerce platform, across key customer buckets of New, Retained & Reactivated. This is a mixed role that requires you to deliver change using our internal development capability and/or working with third party vendors across our enterprise business systems. What you'll do: Responsible for the ongoing continuous improvement & digital transformation of our ecommerce platform, across key customer buckets of New, Retained & Reactivated. You will be the interface between our stakeholders, customers, and digital development teams, so the ability to engage and build strong relationships is essential. Responsible for identifying, understanding, analysing and communicating the requirements of the overall customer solution, through business requirements. Document, communicate and run the specifications/requirements process. Plan, monitor and manage the progress of prioritised features/requirements. Backlog management of Epics, User Stories & Bugs that impact directly on the remit of the role (Systems/Applications). Set and manage stakeholder expectations through regular, proactive communication, and keep informed on issues and progress. Assist with change management and training of staff for technology related initiatives that impact our operating capability. Ability to lead, mentor & motivate team members. Tracking methodology and approach to ensure understanding of how customers are engaging with our digital experiences, identify areas for improvement and support product/design decision making. Where required, assist with the diagnosis and issue resolution of production incidents as they occur. Stay informed of Ecommerce best practices, strategies and tooling. Competitor analysis to understand market & functional trends. Build customer understanding through interviews, research, user testing & feedback. Bringing the digital experience of new product offerings to life across all customer touch points. Support the tactical digital execution of trading activities to meet targets. Skills we value: Comfortable working with both business and technical people, from senior management to line staff. Strong understanding of agile software development life cycle (SDLC) processes or methods. Strong understanding of data modelling and mapping. Excellent verbal and written presentation, facilitation and communication skills. Has a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving. Experienced in working as part of a team as well as individually. What we're looking for: 8+ years experience in a Product Owner / Product Manager / Business Analyst Role, or similar. 5+ years experience delivering change in a digital/technology function with in-house software development capability, or similar. Strong experience in Ecommerce or SaaS environments. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science/Systems, or relevant industry experience preferred.
