Senior Business Analyst - Data

Exciting contract role available for a skilled Business Analyst in the Data domain and with experience working in Agile delivery environments. This role is well suited to a senior BA with experience in agile delivery environments. Circa 8 month remote contract role + flexible working. Immediate start required. What our client can offer: Our client is a professional corporate business entity, boasting a wide and varied Australasian client base. Working within a team focused on delivering a key strategic initiative, this role will involve re-developing a number of business-critical claims reports and dashboards as part of the overall platform migration. This will include replicating and testing of existing reports and dashboards, as well as some rationalization and enhancement of current functionality. What you will do: Your key responsibilities will include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for data solutions, and to test and validate solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data solutions align with business needs and objectives. Skills and experience we are looking for: The ideal candidate will bring a mix of the following: Previous experience as a contractor, able to hit the ground running Strong data, analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications Proficiency in data visualization tools, ie Tableau, Power BI and SQL Experience in collaborative and cross-functional teams This remote role is open to candidates based in Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland.
