Details of the offer

Financial Business Advisor Be the financial business Advisor for a key operational business unit. Get involved and provide guidance, support and financial advice. Enjoy a variety of opportunities to help drive the business forward.
Working with our Operations Business Unit (CSD), you'll support the drive towards better outcomes in financial management, performance, investment, as well as ongoing strategic and commercial management.
Partnering closely with the GM of this area, you'll act as a trusted advisor on all financial matters that impact this area of the business, from margin and operational costs to unit cost performance, operations, transformation, and other strategic initiatives. You'll also be involved in business unit performance reviews and end-to-end business unit planning, reporting, insight development, and critical evaluations of cost and efficiency drivers of the business.
You'll gain a deep understanding of the business by going on-site to talk to various managers and delivery partners, attending lead team meetings with regional managers, and having a national view from a commercial aspect.
You'll bring this lens to your work from the end-to-end fundamentals like month-end, transaction management, reporting, and analysis through to budgeting, forecasting, and helping drive the commercials on strategic initiatives and operational frameworks.
A combination of office-based and work-from-home arrangements is available; when based in the office, we are located in Highbrook.
You'll be a commercially savvy finance business partner with a wealth of experience gained from working in large, complex organizations. Curious by nature, you'll seek to understand how the business ticks from a cost and value perspective. With a continuous improvement mindset, you'll set about making things better.
You'll couple this with:
Strong interpersonal relationships
Comfort presenting complex information in easily digestible formats to a variety of audiences
Being a self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team
Capability and experience in value driver analysis, including cost management in an operations environment
Either a CA or CIMA qualification
