Mo te tunga | About the role As the Senior Business Administrator, you will support the Defence Estate & Infrastructure (DEI) / Alliance partnership; and co-ordinate executive and administrative activities to facilitate the effective and consistent delivery of Defence Estate and Infrastructure outputs. Key activities in this role include: * General admin and office support. * Scheduling meetings. * Creation of committee packs and agendas. * Minute taking and minute distribution. * Ensuring action points are recorded in the activity log, monitored and reported back on. * Document management in line with relevant NZDF policies and Public Records Act, etc. * Overseeing SharePoint pages ensuring they have relevant project documentation. * Financial processing of invoices and reconciliation of purchase orders. * Assisting with the on boarding and logistics of contractors. * Keeping the contractor database up to date. Ideally you'll bring experience from within central government and an understanding of the machinery of government. Key skills and experience we're looking for includes: * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate to staff at all levels within the NZDF. * Experienced with committee meetings and minute taking/distribution. * Strengths in relationships and trust building. * Sound financial management skills. * Experience in the operation of SAP (or another Corporate ERP System). * Experience with business improvement processes. * Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks. * Information and document management experience include skills in SharePoint.
