Reporting to the Assistant Director FM - Property and Campus Services, you will lead the quinquennial building condition surveys, a cornerstone for UC's five-year facilities maintenance plan.
Your work will ensure our buildings remain safe, sustainable, and operationally excellent for all users.
This role is central to managing UC's estate, providing expert property surveying and management services for owned, leased, and occupied buildings.Your responsibilities will include:Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development and implementation of property management strategies aligned with UC's goals, including sustainability initiatives and compliance standards.Condition Surveys: Leading risk-based quinquennial building surveys and providing actionable insights for asset lifecycle and maintenance planning.Specialist Assessments: Conducting pre-acquisition and condition surveys, collaborating with specialists to address technical needs such as structural, fire, or acoustic engineering.Commercial Property: Supporting the commercial manager to review the status of occupancy agreements and managing performance metrics.Maintenance Planning: Collaborating with FM teams to develop and execute our long-term maintenance programs, ensuring uptime and compliance.Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and UC teams to meet key performance indicators.Mou | Who You AreYou thrive in dynamic environments, combining strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills to interpret complex information and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
