What you'll be doing:
As the Senior Brand Manager, you are tasked with creating a highly recognised premium brand across Asia. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will have a high degree of ownership to engaging content and advertising across our portfolio. There is lots of scope to use your creativity to sell the story and inspire consumers to "love" your brands with the support in market agencies and a highly engaged sales team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Working with agencies in NZ and in overseas markets, develop social media and advertising plans that will tell the brand story in each market.
Develop opportunities to link to purchase – through e-commerce, social commerce and conventional retail – to enable consumers to 'buy now' wherever they are.
Using the data at your fingertips, keep campaigns optimised and provide feedback to teams on what's hot and trending.
What you'll bring:
You MUST be a native Mandarin speaker and native user of Chinese social media platforms.
You'll have studied marketing or have experience in Marketing or Brand Management ideally within FMCG.
You can demonstrate how you've managed a brand, kept it within guidelines and to target.
Comfortable telling a story and inspiring your audience, whilst understanding how to flex a story across different cultures and languages.
You're a collaborator, able to influence to get the right outcomes while listening and taking others' perspectives onboard.
We work in a fast-paced and fluid environment, so you need to be comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly.
You have the right to work in New Zealand and can pass pre-employment checks.
