We are currently recruiting for a Senior Brand & Marketing Specialist (Tourism Partnerships) to join our team based in Auckland. The role sits within the Tourism Chapter, a small team that leads initiatives to ensure the development and growth of tourism benefits Air New Zealand, our communities and our environment, now and into the future.
We are looking for a marketing professional who is passionate about fuelling New Zealand's tourism industry and Air New Zealand's critical role in driving this.
In this role you will: Develop and implement cooperative marketing activity with tourism partners to support tourism to New Zealand and Air New Zealand's commercial objectives. Support international regions to develop high-value international visitor markets, with a particular focus on the North America region, including initiatives to address seasonal gaps in demand and grow demand for premium leisure travel. Develop and support initiatives to establish New Zealand as a world-class sustainable tourism destination including Air New Zealand's participation and promotion in Tiaki-Care for New Zealand and Qualmark. Identify and develop partnership opportunities to support commercial objectives. Organise travel arrangements for offshore trade missions and trade famils. Ideally you will bring: At least five years' experience in a brand or market development role in an airline or tourism organisation. Demonstrated experience and ability in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns in a complex business. Experience and understanding of international tourism markets, including an understanding of the tourism distribution system. Experience and understanding of sustainable tourism strategies and initiatives. Exceptional abilities in managing and building relationships, including developing and managing marketing partnerships. Demonstrated experience in development of strategy, including application of insights, and coordination of input from multiple stakeholders.
