Business Services & Corporate Advisory (Accounting)Full timeOverview: Fantastic opportunity to join an established, well-regarded multipartner firm in line with their rapid growth in the North Shore region in 2024/2025.As a Senior Manager of the BAS team, you'll be working closely alongside the Partners and Directors on a range of clients from different industries.Responsibilities:Owning the end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clients.Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties, as well as reviewing the work of junior staff members.Manage and monitor the commercial aspects of an engagement to achieve desired levels of quality and profitability, including workflow management, expected utilization, and productivity targets.Managing the relationship and contact with clients.This role can offer longevity; with our Client looking to hire experienced BAS practitioners who are looking for a clear and eventual pathway to partnership and equity.Ideal Candidate:Experience of 4-6+ years in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level.Solid working experience of Xero packages as well as industry tools.Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements.Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients.Experience in working with large scale and commercial businesses.Formally qualified (CA, CPA or equivalent).Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and motivate team members.Culture & Environment:With a broad client portfolio, you'll be exposed to advisory work and direct client contact from day one.
