Senior Bas Accountant

About the Firm: My client is a boutique CA firm based in Wellington Central and is actively searching for a Senior BAS Accountant. This firm's focus is client care, they fly under the radar in the market and don't feel the need to be flashy. They are a stable traditional firm with low staff turnover and the staff treat each other like family because they actually like each other. You will be partnering with a varied client base doing end-to-end financial statements, some of these are IFRS reporting, all things compliance, direct client contact, some consulting and any projects. The Partners also do consulting on tax so if this is an area of interest, you are more than welcome to get involved. You will be working autonomously and you will have the Directors for support if you need a second opinion. This role has arisen from a long-term staff member moving to the commercial space as well as growth within the client base. This is a rare opportunity to join this firm and will be a phenomenal long-term option for the right person.
