Senior Barista / Foh

We are on the hunt for our next full-time barista for our cafe, Little Poms!
The role is a permanent position and is 5 days a week with all weekend work. The days off will be Thursday and Friday, totaling 38 hours per week.
This role requires you to be a bit of an all-rounder with the ability to work on the machine on busy weekend days.
The successful applicant will have / be:
Can make 300+ coffees & can show experience of this
Excellent table service experience (this includes carrying three plates and understanding flow of service)
Ability to run the floor sole charge
A strong team player
Initiative
Honest and reliable
Fast, efficient, and accurate
Confident attitude
Room for growth in role
Primary Responsibilities:
Making and running the coffee
Keeping your area clean and tidy
Opening and closing of the machine
Making sure you are restocked for the following day
Coffee rotation
Milk management
Assisting in weekly coffee ordering
Making chocolate for hot chocolates
Secondary Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls
Taking bill payments
Cleaning the back bar and the workspace
Keeping the countertop and pass clean
Clearing dirty plates/cups from tables as you deliver coffee
This position is fast-paced and requires experience as we are a high-volume cafe with a great reputation for our food and service.
