About the role: Centrally located in the heart of Auckland CBD, the award-winning boutique Fable Auckland Hotel is looking for a Senior Banquet Supervisor to join our contemporary and sophisticated Cooke's Restaurant and Bar.
Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the guest service experiences in our F&B venue.
You will be a strong supervisor that can lead the team and build a great rapport with returning guests and ensuring that we have welcoming and professional service standards.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities include: Maintaining procedures to ensure a high standard of customer service and customer satisfaction Preparing and planning the venue and team for each shift Ensure successful bar services and actively participate in improving Cooke's Beverage menus and promote a marketable cocktail list Assist the F&B Manager in roster planning, inventory management, and cost control Conducting on-the-job training for new team members Accurate billing and cash-up procedures Ensuring the health and safety of guests and team Working with the team to improve standards and procedures Handle guest complaints efficiently & effectively Role requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in Food and Beverage, including at least 2 years' experience in supervisory positions, preferably in a 5-star environment Bartending skills are essential Strong leadership and communication skills Working knowledge of POS system Punctual, organised and trustworthy Manager's Certificate & LCQ are preferred Flexibility to work on a full-time rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, early morning and evening shifts.
