Senior Automotive Technician/Workshop Foreman

We are looking for an experienced senior technician/workshop foreman to join our team at Auto Super Shoppe Te Puke. This is a busy role, working alongside the owner leading a small team of experienced technicians and apprentices. The role will be predominantly on the tools with some time spent assisting with quoting, managing workflow, and customer communication.To be successful in this role you will need:To be a fully qualified experienced automotive technician.Be an Authorised Warrant of Fitness Vehicle Inspector/be willing to obtain this.Have excellent communication skills.Possess great diagnostic skills.Understand workflow and prioritising jobs.Have the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and remain calm under pressure.Work well within a team.Have a clean NZ drivers licence.NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.Responsibilities include:Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to a high standard.Working together with the owner to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop and timely completion of jobs.Be the go-to person for the other team members and customer's mechanical queries.Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues faced by the workshop team.What we offer:Flexible hours.Competitive salary.Workshop with quality equipment and diagnostic tools.Ongoing training and upskilling.Variety of work - everything from classics, muscle cars to modern Euros and Japanese.Family business with a great team environment and excellent reputation.Time off over Xmas.Please e-mail your CV to: ****** application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?
